Badminton Racquet(badminton Racket)
Badminton racket is the first and most important equipment of the sport badminton. Nowadays rackets are light in weight not more than a 100 grams that is quite low. The frame of the Racket can be made of common metals like steel or aluminium. Sometimes rackets are made of alloys, tough carbon fibre, ceramic, or boron. Shuttlecock
Plastic shuttles are quite durable than the regular feathered one. The plastic shuttles are used for the children who are just beginners. As the plastic shuttlecock for the badminton game is most likely to be used for training purpose. As it is quite less expensive than feathered one. Also plastic shuttle is heavier than the feather shuttle while helps players to make strength in practising.
But the feather shuttle is quite lighter and also it frays especially when the wrong technique is used in playing. So it is not recommended for the training purpose. But actually it is used in almost all the competitive tournaments.

Shoes
Badminton shoes are designed to give you a better grip, cushioning as well as flexibility at the forefoot. They should be also light in weight and also good cushioning to absorb while landing or jumping.
Jogging shoes and badminton shoes are very different so do not wear jogging shoes that might make you fell on the badminton court.
Badminton Clothing
Clothes for the badminton sport especially the t-shirt should be quick-drying because during playing a lot of sweat appears on the body which makes the cloth heavier and wet. Also you would need a light in weight clothing for the game. Clothing made of the polyester material would be a good choice for these two conditions. Also if the temperature there is high then you should wear a light coloured clothing to avoid absorbing heat.
Grip
The common material used to produce a good badminton grip is called polyurethane or PU. PU grips provide comfort and act as a cushion between your fingers and the racket handle. They are also good sweat and shock absorbers.
Wrist Band
If you are a person who perspires a lot then you would definitely need a wrist band so that the sweat from your hand doesn't go to racket handle. It also used sometimes used to remove sweat from your head.
Hand band
If you perspire a lot then hand band is needed especially when if you wear spectacles. It prevents your lenses to get it wet and also prevents sweat and hair from getting into your eyes while playing.
Socks
Wearing a pair of thick cotton socks would be good as they help to absorb sweat as well as they prevent you from slipping inside the shoes. Nylon socks are not preferred during playing the game as it doesn't absorb sweat.
